Dr. Vyjayantimala Bali (Performing Artist)

The first South Indian actress to grace the Hindi film scene was Vyjayantimala. She reigned here for two decades without surrendering her position in Tamil films. Vyjayantimala’s golden period came, however, with films like Madhumati, Ganga Jamuna and Sangam.

Barun has over a thousand ad films to his credit. Most of his work has been for ad film maker, Sumontro Ghoshal. B.R. Films’ Baaghban, among other significant films, has been shot by him.

Ashutosh Gowarikar is the envy of young writer-directors, especially those whose scripts no one will deign to give a glance to. This young director was lucky with the runaway success of Lagaan.
